Security

Our Security

The Best Type uses the latest HIPAA compliant encryption software available. This ensures data is transferred in the safest secure manner to and from our server. Once voice files are transferred from the client's handheld voice recorders to a pc, dictated files are automatically transferred to our server. Files are then dispersed to our transcription staff. Transcribed files are then returned to our server using the same secure encryption. The Best Type then archives a copy of the voice and data files before transmitting the transcribed file to its originator.

Archive Service

Data recovery in case of a catastrophic event such as fire or storm is always a problem. The Best Type archives all files which are transcribed simply for this reason. This enables records to be replaced in a timely manner should such an event occur. Archived files as stored in a fireproof vault and HIPAA compliance is always of the utmost importance.
